Cosmetic and General Dermatology

Dr. Chipps expertly uses numerous injectables for natural-looking, minimally invasive facial rejuvenation. She uses Dysport™, BOTOX®, and Xeomin® to improve wrinkle lines and for hyperhidrosis. Some of the many injectable fillers available in her office include hyaluronic acids (such as Juvéderm®, Restylane®, Perlane®, and Belotero®), Radiesse®, and Sculptra® Aesthetic. Additionally, she skillfully treats leg veins with sclerotherapy using Asclera® and other sclerosants. New technology allows Dr. Chipps to use patients' own cells and tissues for volumization and facial rejuvenation, as well. For patients with volume loss, especially in the cheeks, fat transfer from other areas can give beautiful results. A patients' own fibroblasts can also be used for improving lines and acne scars with a new process called LaViv™ (azficel-T) in which collagen-producing cells are cultured and reinjected into lines. Now, Dr. Chipps is among the first to offer the latest in cheek volume enhancement with Voluma®!

Laser Treatments

In her offices, Dr. Chipps uses the latest in laser technology to treat numerous skin conditions. With the newest devices in laser resurfacing, Dr. Chipps offers a range of laser treatment options for wrinkles, sun damage, scars, acne, acne scars and loose skin. She offers both ablative (fractional CO2 and erbium) and nonablative laser resurfacing options with new, state-of-the-art equipment. For tightening the skin on the face, neck, and body, she employs infrared and radiofrequency devices, and she has lectured internationally on the use of these devices. Dr. Chipps skillfully improves the appearance of red and brown discolorations of the skin with a combination of vascular laser treatments, intense pulsed light (IPL) fotofacials, and q-switched lasers. Her office also provides laser tattoo removal, laser treatment for psoriasis, and painless laser hair removal for all skin types.

Mohs Micrographic Skin Cancer Surgery

Dr. Chipps is a skilled skin cancer surgeon with extensive fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and facial reconstructive surgery. She has done thousands of skin cancer surgeries, primarily on cosmetically-sensitive areas of the face and neck.  Dr. Chipps carefully and efficiently removes skin cancers on all areas of the body. She is skilled at surgical reconstruction of the resultant wounds, and she offers the latest techniques and products for minimizing surgical scarring.

Committed to skin cancer education and prevention, Dr. Chipps performs skin cancer screenings for the Skin Cancer Foundation, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

Cosmetic Surgery

A Diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Chipps performs tasteful, minimally-invasive cosmetic surgery to attain natural-looking, youthful results.  She combines liposuction with noninvasive fat reduction technologies for elegant body contouring. Author of the textbook chapter on face lifts, Dr. Chipps performs face lifts and neck lifts with minimal down-time, often under local anesthesia. She uses lasers in addition to standard surgical blepharoplasty techniques to rejuvenate upper and lower eyelids. She uses fat transfer and stem cell injections to complement her surgical skills for beautiful, fresh-looking results.  With the NeoGraft system, Dr. Chipps and her team offer scarless, natural hair transplantation.  Finally, Dr. Chipps also routinely performs excisional surgery of numerous benign and malignant skin growths, including moles, cysts, lipomas, and skin cancers.
